Crystal Springs Homestead
Heart of the Walpole wilderness area.
In the Holiday House there are two double and 2 twin bedrooms and in the Ranger’s House two double and two single. Mattresses allow extra guests and sheets, quilts, pillows and towels are provided.
The kitchens are fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, hot water, a fridge/freezer, and a microwave oven, etc.
A washing machine and drier is available in each laundry. The Holiday House offers two inside bathrooms with a shower and bath as well as a disabled access bathroom. The Rangers House has a bathroom with shower and separate inside WC. |
Both houses have a TV, DVD and VCR. The large family room in the Holiday House can act as a games room with table tennis equipment, board games. It is large enough to use for group work or as a meeting space for up to 20 people.
All rooms have electric fan heaters for the winter evenings and both houses have a wood heater and a gas BBQ. Verandahs offer a vantage point to enjoy nature. |
In the grounds you can have BBQs and encourage the kids to try camping overnight; the lakes on the property offer scope for observing water birds and pond life.
Due to the nearby wildlife and farm animals, dogs and cats are not permitted. These are non-smoking houses. |
